This was an in-depth presentation of the architecture, statutes, sculptures, ceremonies and history surrounding the Parthenon.

Sounds and Images of an Epic  
By popular demand an updated rendition of last year’s celebration of Greece’s entrance into World War II was presented. The program features sounds, voices, and images from the 1940s war era. The captivating narration of events by Marina Sofos interweaved with songs by the Greek students and the church choir, will create a dramatic, uplifting sensation.

A Greek Jew during the Nazi occupation of Greece. Mrs. Hoffman will present the captivating details of trying to escape the Nazi persecution in warn-torn Greece in the 1940s.

Beneath Aphrodite's Sea: Underwater Archaeology in Greece and Cyprus
By Dr. Robert Hohlfelder, Professor of Archaeology, University of Colorado at Boulder.
Prof. Hohlfelder presented details on the impressive artifacts uncovered in the seabed off the coast of Greece and Cyprus. The unique difficulties and methodology associated with underwater archaeology was examined.

SYMPOSIUM 
January 1998 
Symposium on the Greeks in Colorado presented in three segments: the Greeks of Denver, by Dr. Ed Demos; the Greeks of Southern Colorado, by Mr. Dino Theodoran; and the Greeks of Northwest Colorado, by Mr. Gus Halandras. 

LECTURE

The Vlachs (Βλάχοι) in Greece, by Mrs. Maria Vasiliou.
In her lecture Mrs. Vasiliou, a native Vlach from Greece, presented the history, customs, and language of this ethnic group that makes its home on the mountains of Epirus, Greece.
